Being on vacation is hard work.

We had a wonderful trip to visit Jeanie and Uncle Phil. A HUGE thank you to them both for having us in their beautiful home. We shared lots of laughs, great meals, yummy fresh squeezed oj (thanks uncle!), and warm sunny days. It was a perfect week!

Easter and the playground makes me happy!!!



Happy Easter to all!!! We had a great day, and Sam was all dressed up in his Easter finest. We could not help but take tons of pictures. It was finally sunny (and a bit warm, at least on the sunny side of the street) in NYC, and we took a nice walk along the Hudson. Sam enjoyed a nice long nap in the crisp air.

Here are some photos from Emma's angel food birthday cake. Sam was very interested in our plates.....it was very tasty and low-cal too! Thanks to Speed for making the cake from scratch. It reminded me that Ms. Darby's contribution to the Whetstone School Fair silent auction was always an angel food cake -- I always thought that was a bit strange. (I also never really understood what a silent auction was.)
